Problem with Opera on RHEL

Hi,

I am using opera in rhel, whenever i am opening opera the following error comes. pls can anyone help me

ERROR: ld.so: object 'libjvm.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libawt.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ScimInputContextPlugin()
WARNING: please edit ~/.scim/global and change /DefaultConfigModule to kconfig

[1]+ Segmentation fault opera

You are likely missing the Java runtime packages. You can get them from the Sun download pages, or java.com

Where did U get opera from? Was it part of the distribution or did U download it? If U downloaded it was it for your distro get a new verson from opera.com and get a staticly build one as Opera doesn't need java to run (it'a an option).

can opera find the java runtime open opera and type opera:plugins
does it contain any java plugin? You may need to make a link to the java plugin.
Those files are part of the java runtime.
The jre is usually distributed with rhel so see if it's installed, if not get it from redhat or sun.
