Hi

I want to measure the power consumed by an operation running on basys2 board. I want to see some power traces. I want to know which pin I should tap so that I can see the traces. Is there a document that tells what to do? Please help. Thanks

To measure the power (Amps), you have to connect your multitester in series of the power supply to the board!
So the best way to measure the boards power consummation, you should attach a 5V power supply to the battery pins, but with the multitester in series!

You would be most likely interested to monitor the 1.2V core current consumption, which is mainly affected by logic activity. But the board doesn't provide a specific measurement option, see the BASYS2 schematic diagram for details.
