Porting my Application on SH4 Under Linux ! Can you help ?

I have a application which runs for X86 under windows and Linux

I need to port this application for SH4 processor my question is

1.What OS is good ?
2.What problem could i face to port it on new processor, will i need to modify any code ?
3. from where will I get tools like cross compiler and stimulator

any help is welcomed

I have the source code of this application which compiles and runs under both windows & linux on x86 processor

I want to compile this app for SH4 processor

how can you guide me
