Hi all,

I just have a little question. I have an oscillator with a buffer driving a 50 ohm load. Does anyone know how to plot a dBm power across this 50 load ??

Thanks a lot in advance,

DYL ;)

I assume you want to plot the oscillator power vs load impedance.

At the output of the oscillator place a coupler for power measurement, and at the other end of the coupler place a stub tuner terminated with a load.

In this way you can vary the load impedance, and measure the output power for any particular impedance.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answer, but perhaps I did not make my question clear enough. Actually, I meant in the simulation, which is Spectre, not in real lab measurement :)
