My project is to define the pressure inside a small cavity by piezoelectric-related material.

But many researchers states that the piezoelectric sensors cannot be used in static measurement due to the discharging process.

In this case, is that meaning the piezoelectirc cannot be used in the static measurement? Or is there any additional circuit I can add on to make it for static pressure measurement? Please advise.
