pic programing problem

hi,

i've bought a pic programer (picpro16)
it has a free software (free for only 16f84) the name of it is picallw.
i checked all of the hardware and tested hardware with programing software. hardware is o.k.
when i use hardware test buttons of software, software is o.k.
but when i try to program, i can not able to program a chip.

is there anybody who knows this software?
is it realy work?
do you know better solution to use my hardware?

thks.

Are you refering to the P16Pro programmer ?

I have make this programmer using veroboard and its is working fine.

The unregisterd picallw will only program 200 memory locations.
the latest version v0.14a works on WindowsXP.

if there is an error it gives you

or if you are using picpro16 prob icprog will work ok if you set it as the correct settings

other than this
more info on the error is best

Try to increase the "Prog Delay" manually - for me this helped a lot.

Mik

You can just use a r*eg key to remove the 200 byte limit in PICALLW 0.14a.
