Pic microcontroller for programiing

Hi,

I am a fresher and new to embedded system ,can any one please tell me which book i need to refer for pic microcontroller to program in c language,and any site to download the books for pic controller.

There is plenty of information at https://www.microchip.com. On Microchip's webiste you can download MPlabX software and C18 compiler. You can also look at https://www.mikroe.com, on this website you can download MikroC Pro complier. In both complier is help with information which you need.
