Hi,

Could somebody give me a name of an 8bit microcontroller from Microchip, that can be used in automotive applications?

I don't think any are specifically targeted for automotive it all comes down to how you design the circuitry as to how the PIC will perform in whatever application area. Some PICs will however have automotive related interfaces like CAN but then that really is only a matter of matching your interface requirements to any particular PIC. MicroChipDirect have a comparison table that allows you to identify PICs based on interface requirements.
