PHILIPS FW41 - "Spatial sound" option

Hi,
The spatial sound option of my Philips FW41 mini hi-fi seems to be malfunctioning. Somehow, it works with the CD, TUNER, TAPE input sources but not AUX-TV. If memory serves, it used to work with AUX-TV. The user's manual does not say that spatial sound does not work with AUX-TV.

If you own a FW41, please confirm with me if spatial sound works with AUX-TV.

Clues as to how to repair it (if it is really a malfunction) are also welcome.

Hi, I also own a Philips FW41. I was using it for many years with my TV. The spatial sound function DOES work with AUX-TV. I think you should start checking for faulty resistors and caps following the AUX-TV audio signal traces on selector board and main board.
