Hi all,

We're now working with PADS PowerPCB for our PCB designs.

We want to devellop some prototypes in 'digital version': the PCB should be designed in PADS PowerPCB and then, we should be able to simulate and predict the behaviour of the PCB, especially the temperature on each place of the board, thermal hot spots on the board, etc....
But no physical PCB should be made in this process.

Is there any software which can do this?

Another possibility is that we manufacture and assemble the PCB and measure the temperature with an infrared camera in real-life but we should also need some theoretical specifications to modify the PCB at a later time.
Creating a new PCB for each small change takes too long and is too expensive.

Kind regards,

Roel
