I have no feeling that Orcad share same interface with Layot.
They seems like diferent produvts.
The same situation was with P-CAD shape router.
The lybrary are not inegrated like in p-cad .
For me Orcad is out of site , and dont mess orcad with PCSPICE- it support yet its internal SCH editor.
I you want to desing complex pcb's i advice you mentor products.But you want it for home, mentor products fits large Then try to use orcad or eagle.Pcad is easy to learn.
