i like multisim better

orcad+layout plus + specctra is better than pcad2001, pcad2002

ORCAD????

I have no feeling that Orcad share same interface with Layot.
They seems like diferent produvts.
The same situation was with P-CAD shape router.
The lybrary are not inegrated like in p-cad .

For me Orcad is out of site , and dont mess orcad with PCSPICE- it support yet its internal SCH editor.

I am using PCAD for layout and Specctra for routin DSN size 10 to 20k pads, microvias and very complex
The stability of this team is unbeatable !!!

Hi,

I you want to desing complex pcb's i advice you mentor products. But you want it for home, mentor products fits large :) Then try to use orcad or eagle.Pcad is easy to learn.

Analyzer

try protel dxp.. with it you can design..simulate and make the PCB in one single software tool.
for professional PCB try PowerPCB

ORCAD is good for schematic and simulation.

PCAD is good for layout.

If only one then PCAD
