What do you mean by an optical PCB? A PCB with optical semiconductors on it or lenses/filters?

Keith.

Hi Keith,
Optical PCB is a PCB with buried embedded optical layer. This layer is used for light transmission. This type of technology is used in networking board where the SI losses are more due to copper transmission.
Find some more info in the attachment.
