im have experienced designing pcbs in protel
in protell we can change the properties of the whole
pcb by expanding the properties from local to global and
can apply that chang to whloe board
but i could not found this facility in altium designer 6
can anyone help or suggest any use full idea

I not sure what is is you are looking for but you could try the PCB inspector you can change most things there depending on what you have selected / filtered. **broken link removed**

you can either use the pcbfilter to write the query or use the "Find Similar Objects" command.
Then in the pcbinspector you can globally change parameters.

If you are talking about specific PCB items. Like silk screen size etc. Then using the find similar object and then the PCB inspector will help. If you are asking how to chnage PCB perameters to Global (i.e. project parameters) then I'm afraid they cannot be transposed quickly, but need to be done individualy using the "Project Options" menu and selecting the Parameters Tab. The Parameters input here will be available to both PCB and Schematics.

I hope that helps some.
