If that's not possible, how can I measure the battery's internal resistance while it is still connected but not in use? Any ideas anyone? :?:

I forget the US patent number, but with the internal resistor measured, the accuracy would be better than 99%. good luck

For the basic method have a look in "output impedance"- batteries at: https://www.answers.com/topic/output-impedance Regards, IanP
