Xilinx EDK

Hi,
can someone help me out with using a embedded development kit(EDK) ? I want to add an existing HDL design and a embedded software to a virtex-II pro device. Please help me out.

Re: Xilinx EDK

there are several ways :

the 2 main aproaches are :

1. the edk will be sub -model in your ise design => easiest, p@r is done in ise.

2. the hdl will be inside your edk design as ip core => complicated, but more open for s/w integration.

Re: Xilinx EDK

I'm trying to use powerpc in my system using EDK. there are a lot of options using the XPS. all i need is to interface it with my hardware. how do i go about to produce the minimum pin list ? also, is there something like a powerpc block diagram somewhere with pin list included? Will be very grateful for your help.

Thank you.
