Hi.. I am doing Masters in Electrical engineering. I want to do a project in vhdl. Can anybody suggest me some current Hot topics?

Thank you Farhada...but I am looking for a software project as I don't have much hardware resources and facilities..
The topics u suggested are really HOT! but they will need hardware too..
Can you plz suggest me some software based topics?

There's a big difference between simulation and synthesis. If you need a inexpensive development board check out:

Digilent - Great company academic pricing on several FPGA boards

KNJN - Neat Little Company with FPGA Development Boards for as little as $50

If you can't afford $100, then you can write HDL and simulate just about anything:
