Hi, everyone;'
when I perform simulation (even DC simulation), there are some errors message and the simulation is terminated. The error information is attached:

cadence ic5141 permission denied on library

It seems you have 2 problems. One is syntax problem. Are you sure your model is Spectre compatible?
Another problem: reading permission of model file.

unable to open library file simulation

you r right, the second proplem has been solved by change the read permission.
But the first one is still exist.
However, the PDK works well in my PC (virtual machine cadence environment) without any problems. Why the PDK presents so many problems when it is installed in our university workstation?

input.scs file cadence

Once I had problem with model syntax when I transferred model file to Unix as a binary file instead of a text file.

how to specify the model .scs cadence

yes that's probably the reason. use "dos2unix" command to convert your model files.

cadence simulation

i also met across the same problem ,who can give some advice?thanks!

cadence ic5141 sun4v

Please pay attention to the file path "/eda/cadence/ic5141/tools.sun4v/spectre/bin/32bit/spectre"
You can try to use the spectre of MMSIM
/eda/cadence/mmsim/tools/bin/spectre
The spectre is difference with MMSIM and IC5141

cadence models files .scs

thanks for ur reply,i have ever tried to use the MMSIM610,however,although i configure the .bashrc file ,added as :/home/eda/mmsim610/spectre,the spectre always attached to the default spectre offered by cadence itself, anyone who knows the reason?thanks!

cadence simulation files

write path to MMSIM before path to CDS_INST_DIR.

cadence simulation tool

Does the problem have been solved? and How?
Thanks a lot.
