I've tested several PC based Logic Analyzers and finally purchased:

INTRONIX 34 CHANNEL LA1034 LOGICPORT LOGIC ANALYZER

They say, "Imitation is the best form of flattery." Well I've seen this unit copied every way possible, even the name is used quite often.

One of the most important points to consider in your decision, is buy from a reputable company that you think will be around for some time to come.

Also, I avoid purchasing anything which requires payment for software or firmware upgrades. There are few things worse than repeatedly paying for the same item time and time again.

Intronix is a fantastic company with great customer support and upgrades are always free.

I would also like to add that I have purchased many different PC based instruments and have been very happy with all of them, except the PC based oscilloscope. Not that my particular choice was the problem, but frankly I've never met anyone with enough hands and feet to effective use one.

My advice when it comes to oscilloscopes, is to save your money and buy a stand alone unit.
