Hello:
I'm facing with a project to develop a board which needs two connectors.
one is to 1000Mbps ethernet,another is to SATA controller directly without external bus such as PCI or PCI-x。Now I find two development board—Xilinx Virtex-II Pro Ml300 and Stratix Gx development board include Stratix GX EP1sGx40G FPGA.But both need third_party SATA Ipcore.
I'm sure the design of this project is very difficult. Can you give me some good advice bout FPGA design and how to choose the right board.
