can any one help me in my LG 19 inch LCD ???

my LCD monitor Display Shutdown After Few Seconds

i checked the power and evry thing is oki

is there any way to solve it ?

is it your monitor or the cpu is getting shut down??

please contact the LG service centre(toll free) , if its still under warranty period.

hi man , its not about my cpu, cuz when i connect it to my compuer the monitor display everything but after 5 sec the monitor stoped to display and the LCD light still on
if trn it of and turn it back on u gonna see u r computer and again after 5 sec it will lose it

i tested the main power but i dont know why still

Hi Flexx,
When your monitor shutdown, is the power on led still on ?
If so, please check lcd's psu circuit and there may be one or more capacitor is demaged.

is seems all capacitors are smd , and i got fluke ammeter , but it works with regular capacitors

how can i shoud i determine the deffect ones ?

and the psu circuit in the LCD contain the folloing

1- 2 Ic's contain mosfets transisitors
2- CU for flurecent LCD
3- SMD capacitos
4- SMD transistors

this in all LG LCD monitors

Have a look here for your LG.
Replace the Bad Caps before something else burns out or smokes.

if i were you i'd replace all those suspected caps without need to test them first , you should replace them and repair your monitor .

really ? how can i do it , can i replace any leon caps with another

i found no codes on this caps and i dont know how to recognize if this is good or bad

please help me
