can i drive a 7 segment display directly from a msp430 device ,as i couldnt find any data regarding the sinking & sourcing capability of the device.

Don't do that ur device may get destroyed.
 

hi

can u please let me know what kind of problem i will face during the connection dirctly msp430 device to 7 segmaent display .or there is any other way to solve these problem by using some extra periferals with the device.
