Are you trying to do simulation or synthesis? Thats two different answers.
 


Have you considered fixed point arithmetics? It consumes less logics and is simpler, but has less precision depands how many bits and point location.
Of course it depends on an application, but sometimes it is sufficient.

Consider using LUT (Look Up Table) for every particular nonlinear or linear function. It will consume BlockRAM or DistributedRAM.
