How can I visually discriminate between E-plane & H-plane tees/bends ?

How can I draw E/H vectors around axis of bends/tees by considering
horizontal/vertical polarizations ?

There's an old saying for knowing the bend type E-plane... E for easy to bend. H-plane... H for hard to bend

E wall is narrow easy to bend, H wall is wide, hard to bend

I gave up trying to copy the drawing from my book, my artistic skills are not brilliant ;)

your first pic is a H bend the 2nd is an E bend
