Hi,
Can you tell me what is the difference between ATMEGA8A & ATMEGA8L microcontroller

Yes.
The ATMEGA8A ends with an 'A' while the ATMEGA8L ends with an 'L'.

But who knows? Maybe it's not the only difference...perhaps you should consult the device data sheet for more information.

Different between these ic's is operating voltage and frequency.

L version = 2.7-5.5 IIRC & only up to 8MHz
Non-L version = (4.5-5.5 IIRC) and goes up to 16MHz

Hi,
Can you tell me what is the difference between ATMEGA8A & ATMEGA8L microcontroller

atmega8A and 8L have same voltage range(2.7v-5.5v)

but freq are different.
atmega8L 0-8MHz
atmega8A 0-16MHZ

(atmega 8L is low voltage version of atmega8.
atmega8A is low power consumption of atmega8)
