Can you help me on this question I had for years?

Every time I touch two metals together (holding them with my fingers) and place a shortwave SSB radio nearby, I hear clicks and noises on the radio.
Why is that happenning?

Has anyone observed this phenomenon before?

More likely the triboelectric effect

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triboelectric_effect

But basically two metals with a difference in electric charge. When shorted together a fast pulse of current flows to balance the charge.

I tend to believe that this is more likely the case. Because as far as I remember, it occured best when I lightly rubbed one metal to the other.
However the wikipedia page does not refer to metals I think https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triboelectric_effect
