This is a research based project where i'm trying to use a metallic sphere to filter a signal between two coupled microstrip lines. When i Plot the s-parameters i can see a resonance happening at around 21GHz on the S2:1 parameters, however the S1:1 parameters are showing that most of the signal is consistently being reflected throughout the sweep. The goal is to have the signal being able to pass as efficient as possible between the lines and once the resonant frequency of the sphere is reached the signal is filtered. Currently this isn't the case. Any help that you could possibly provide me will be much appreciated.
