Hi
I try to simulate the shield can casing to improve the isolation of the PCB trace. I imported the ACIS file of the shield can casing into HFSS 3D Layout. But when I simulate it, I found out that the simulation does not recognize the shield can. Can someone explain why and how to solve this?

Edit: I managed to convert the component into .a3dcomp file but when I try to import into HFSS 3D Layout, it says "a3dcomp file is not compatible with the active design and cannot be inserted"
