Guys,

When it comes to defining enclosures for say flush mount energy meters, which is good practice to use, metallic or plastic?

I have to decide on one & I'm confused.

If anybody can give some insight based on experience, I would be thankful.

Hi,

METALLIC ENCLOSURES
---------------------------
- Help you pass the EMC radiated emission tests
- Make your product havier
- No aestethic

PLASTIC ENCLOSURES
-------------------------
- Make your end product lighter
- You can add aestethic to your end product
- Mold cost
- Unit cost cheaper
