mentor graphics layout

friends i learned how to do layouts...now i am facing problem to connect the pads ...do u have any manual ...please tell me how to connect the ground,vdd and i/o pads...i cannot invoke more then one pad on the same project..it says only one floorplan can exist....

What program you use? - IC Station?
add io ground and vcc pads as cells..
Are you read thies manuals $MGC_HOME/shared/pdfdocs/... ?

yes i have seen those pdfs , but i didnt find any help there to make the padframe.

in adk_ic if i select adk>generate pad frame>> technology, it invokes pad frames.(induilt). but i cant edit them.
i want to creat pad frames of my own.
