Measuring the capacitor values with the delta sigma ADC

Does anyone has some experience in measuring the capacitor values using the delta sigma adc.
My requirement is to measure the capacitor with aF change.

I suggest to calculate the problem properties based on elementary electrical parameters as voltage and current, noise, required resolution versus acceptable measurement time to determine the feasibility without restricting the solution to a particular technique.
