Hello All,

I am planning to use Matrix Converter (AC to AC) for Motor Drive application.

I have few basic questions:
1. Can the output frequency be different from the input AC frequency?
2. what happens if the input supply frequency changes?

Hi,

I assume almost every application note, tutorial, description about matrix AC/AC converters will answer your questions.

Thus I recommend to give us (the link to) the document you use. Then we can discuss about this document.

(BTW: I recommend not to rely only on one single document, you sould at least read thorugh a couple of them..)
