I am now really confused. I have a teg data sheet that gives the matched voltage as 5.26 and the matched current of 0.76 with a matched load resistance of 6.9R. This is were I'm confused. If I draw a model with a voltage source Vmatched a source resistance Rs and load resistance RL. The total matched resistance is 5.26v/0.76a giving Rtotal as 6.9R.
Now surely RL is Rtotal/2 ??? (Rsource + Rload)/2 to get RL then P= I2 RL.
The data sheet gives pmatched as I2 Rtotal
