Hi,

I ve to study the feasiblity of a product for a particular marine application. The function of the equipment is to provide ethernet communication to exisitng RS485 channels.. The enclosure planned is plastic..
I would like to know if there are any particular standards that i need to be generally aware of in this field , related to my application

What i have in mind is that any particular things to note about selection of PCB to PCB Connectors ,RJ45 connectors,Enclosure design,material selection & PCB routing, as the equipment will be operating in saline environment..
