Hi,
I'm also using Magma, and I don't think it can be used in windows platform.

AFAIK there is no windows version for MAGMA

no WHIZKID,

MAGMA has a NT version

well dude.. thats why i want to know how the installation procedure is.. and how to set various parameters including the license path etc..

can anyone give n detail abt these..

with regards,

There is windows version for MAGMA documents and MAGMA GUI (atmos.exe), but there is no windows version for MAGMA program.

MAGMA only supports Linux and Solaris.

magma has only a linux and solaris version of their tools.there is a folder called winnt even in the linux install,do not know what it does.

regards
amarnath

Linux or UNIX, you should choice one. NT's memory management is too weak to run industry EDA tool.

Magma has only solaris and windows NT version as far as i know...but i dont think Xp supports that high fi s/w......
