Dear all..

i am new to electronics industry bt i aim to make a beautiful career in electronics coz electronics iz my first wife..!!

from last few days, i am trying to find sm answers bt bloody team mates coudnt helped me out..

please help me out to calculate snubber design..

it depend on the current ratings and voltages. generally in designs a resistor of 120 ohms (2 watt) with a .22 uf caps shall be seen.

i dnt have any example nw..

but if u give me one example from you design...

actually i m looking out to overcm to the overshoot into the primary of transformers...

In short, snubber design must always start with experimental measurements of the parasitic inductance/capacitance involved. After those are known, the snubber design is usually straightforward, though it may take some trial and error to get right.
