I am looking for an "USB to SPI" converter IC. There is a FTDI chip (ft2232) for this but its operating temperature range is not suitable for us (0 to 70 C). It must be working under zero temperature. Can you help me, please?
Is the storage temperature of the ft2232 sufficient?
One possibility is to use add some thermal insulation and use a resistor as a heater. Use a temperture sensor to only turn on the power to the chip when the temperature is above zero.
