I'm using this IC - KSZ8463FRLI and its SPI lines is connected to a CPU and a CAN Controller through a connector.

When the SPI bus is connected to the Switch IC (KSZ8463) through the connector, the current consumption jumps and the switch IC stops working. If the SPI bus is disconnected, the switch passes ethernet traffic through its other two ports well.

Can someone tell me what could be the reason?

SPI_MOSI and SPI_CS have a pull-up resistor. SPI_MISO and SPI_CLK don't have pull-up or pull-down

Hi,

It´s not clear which part is connecte to which... and wich lines go through the connector.

Please draw a sketch with all these lines . additionally the involved power supply lines.
