Sony Vaio

Hi

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-FX310K, that got some extra icetea inside. As you all know it is not good for electrical equipent so now it is dead. I do not think it is much chance of repairing it but worth a try. So I am looking for a schematic or if anyone know what type of circuit a SO-6 named VD with a dot in the middle, on PCB it is marked Q2801. The chip is placed close to two diodes M2D. I have one scan of the entire PCB and attach a small one for the damaged chip, next to the right in the picture is the VDC IN.

Suggestion of cool things to do with old laptop parts are always welcome :)

Thanks in advance
