I have a project where I will build a set of temperature and humidity probes.
Probes will then be connected to a Basic Stamp controller.
For temperature I intend to use the SMT160-30 sensor from Smartec.
This seems like an ideal sensor, no A/D needed, no worries about long cables etc.
I have a problem though finding a similar humidity sensor. Most humidity sensors seems to be capacitive so there is a need to build some kind of oscillator around them. I also found the Honeywell HIH-4000 series which leaves a linear 0-5V output, but that would then require an A/D or some kind of V/F converter.
Any suggestions here?

Actually, I might have found something!
The Sensirion humidity sensors seems perfect, will dig into the datasheets now...
