There aren't any free editors (edit, and save edits). There are many viewers that will allow you to look at, and print, Gerber files. The Google search in the above message will lead you to the viewers. These free viewers don't let you save any Gerber file changes you try to make.

if you want to edit gerber file ,it find very diffucult
you can use cam350 it very good program but not free
only gerber viewer programs is free
; i think twp programs is very best, one of them gc preuve the other viewmate

GC-Cam is good for editing but it's not for free. Here is the link for downloading the demo
