Looking for a startup IC design company in UK

Anybody here in UK own a start up in IC design. I am not working in IC design at the moment. I would love to have a career change. Unfortunately most of the comapnies here in UK ask for min 3 years industrial experience IN IC DESIGN or a fresher out of UNI yester year. I was wondering if anybody could help sothat I could join as a fresher and gain some work experience and work my way up to Circuit design .
