Hello!

I'm looking for a small PIC with I2C, and at least 4 IO ports.

Can anyone tell me one?

Thanks in advance,

jS

Re: Smaller PIC with I2C

Do you need hardware I2C? It would be easy to implement this in SW.
Regards...

Re: Smaller PIC with I2C

12C508-9 would do, with software implemented I2C.
Probably your cheapest option, but OTP.

Cheers

Hello!

Thanks for your replay's,

Yes, I'm looking with hardware I2C to make the work easier...

Probably your cheapest option, but OTP.

I'm looking for PIC16F876A I2C compatible, cause I have some code in it, and I want to port into the new one...
And it should be Flash...

Thanks anyway.

Smaller PIC with I2C

Hi,

This link will help you chose the right PIC for your choise.
**broken link removed**
Chose one of the PIC16Fxxx series and not the PIC16Cxxx. The C are ole type and will cost more then the F type.
Also, I would use the PIC16F88 for your applicattion. Its very similer to the 876 but smaller and only small cahnges need to be done for it to work if you have the software.

If you found my answer useful, click on the button that says Helped me.

Good luck.
