What is loading effect in amplifier? How it works in Op-amp cascading filters?

The output stage of the amplifier has a certain amount of impedance. Loading effect is the drop in signal amplitude when you attach a load. It can also refer to distortion of the signal.

If the load has a high impedance compared to the source's impedance, then it causes slight loading effect.

It is not necessarily bad for the load to be around the same impedance. The amplifier may be intended to transfer power to the load, as with an audio amplifier.

When constructing a filter using op amps, the advice often recommends that we add a buffer op amp afterward.

The reason is that we do not want to load the op amps which do the filtering job, because it can alter how the filter performs.
