Hi Sir,
I am Planning to Interface Single channel Digital Potentiometer IC (1 M ohms) and Single Channel DAC IC to interface with Arduino Mega 2560. Can you Please share the Details of already used Single channel Digital Potentiometer IC(ranges from 0 to 1 M ohms) and Single channel DAC IC which is already interfaced to use for my application.?

Regard,
V. Prakash

Hi,

I have used all of them, all with success.

But what is your question?
I don´t know what to focus on:
* digital side
* analog side
* power supply (voltage and current)
* values
* resolution
* accuracy and precision
....

When I do a design I first decide the requirements. Example:
* single 3.3V supply, low power
* to save pins: both devices at the same I2C bus
* 256 steps for the pot is enough. Rail to rail operation. no need to be non_volatile
* 12 bits of DAC is enough, 3.0 V Ref
* 1% FS accuracy for both devices.

Then I check my stock for suitable devices
Then I check my distributor for suitable devices using their selection tools

Ok Sir. Thanks for the reply. I have selected the Following for my application:
1. Digital Potentiometer - AD5241
2. DAC IC - MCP4725

1. Both the Device are 5V supply operation.
2. Arduino UNO/ Mega has two I2C Port. Can use both for the same.

Have you used this? Kindly let us know.

My concern is:
Digital Potentiometer is to adjust the gain of the differential Opamp . DAC is to set the analog reference to the Digital compare Value.Is the Digital Potentiometer can be used to adjust the gain of the opamp. it is advisable to use digital potentiometer? Digital Potentiometer is stable for the gain control.? Slight change in Potentiometer value will be reflected in the amplified signal.

Hi,

Still we miss the electrical specifications.
How can we say whether your solution is good or not, without knowing what you need?

And if you want to discuss about a circuit .. then please provide the according schematic.
