Hi all,

Is it possible to listen to my cellphone when it is turned off (the battery is in). Does it depend on the cell phone technology or the network operator?

Cheers,
Hadi

Yes it is possible. You will not hear much, since it will not be making any noise, but you can still listen.

It depends on the phone's transmitter and receiver circuitry having power applied to it, which does not happen when it is turned off.

Hope this helps
