[SOLVED] Links to programming PC parallel port in C

I would like to know the books or complete tutorial for programming parallel port in C. the compiler am using is visual studio 2008 VC++..Does the syntax of C is same as in C++ also.I want to make GUI first and then parallel port operation in VC++ compiler.I have tired before implementing the GUI in C by using VC++ compiler.Pls suggest me any way to learn thgis concepts.


IS it easy to implement the GUI and parallel port programming in C#.IF is it so then i will learn C# and implement my logic.
