hi,

i am trying to use an oled display with mp pic18 mcu, but there is a problem the oled display works with two voltage input one is Vdd 3.3v the other is Vcc 7.5v and the display has a charge inside. and provide Vcc by itself.

the problem is, according to the datasheet the input voltage of charge pump (so called Vbat) has to be between 3.5v and 4.2v and needs a secondary power supply.

my question is what happens if i applied 3.3v to the Vbat pin? the oled still works but the brightness reduces? or it doesnt work at all?

the oled uses ssd1306 as a controller.

thanks.
