I believe this is a power supply IC of some type from the Japanese manufacturer Sanken. Look here at their web page **broken link removed**

I have not been able to locate this part on their website because it is probably an OEM part made for HP with special number. I do see sites that claim to have the datasheet but it seems that it costs money to get the datasheet. Can you be a little more specific about how many pins the IC has and what is around it. This may give some more clues about what this part really is and what you may be able to replace it with.
