My suggestion is that because 8748 is very close to 8051 it is not difficult to translate code from 48 to 51.
It is realy ease to make this step up and be up-to date..and forget about the old one..
Well i have a 8748 programmed chip and i want to make a copy, so i is it possible to use a 8051 programmer to copy 8748 ? or even i can copy a 8748's code to a 8051 ?
No, you can't . 48 and 51 are pin-incompatible and use different HEX codes for almost identical instructions, but it is possible to translate from one to the other..
I just thought you had the code. But the main problem is that the code is still in your micro and you can not read it.
I have here programmer for a lot of micros, including 8748/9.
Maybe you can try your local hobby shop where sometimes thay have programmers...
