Need a super low end cheap A/D solution, maybe 5 bits on a good day, try this
The opamp/comparator you can get in 10 cent range, passives maybe a nickel.
you already have a micro and a crappy regulator (used as Vref), what more
could you ask for ? 2 pins needed on micro, it too low end, just enough memory to
remember what it is.....
